HQS Hunter Suppressor – cal. 6.5 mm (.264) is a next-generation hunting suppressor, designed for shooters who demand real sound and recoil reduction without compromising balance, length, or shooting feel.

HQS (High Quality Suppressors) is a Bulgarian manufacturer based in Karlovo, in the heart of the Rose Valley – a region often nicknamed “Guns and Roses”. HQS is part of BAMX Group, with more than 20 years of experience in precision metalworking for the military-industrial sector.

HQS Hunter is the very first model of the brand, developed after suppressors were legalized for civilian use in Bulgaria in 2019. It laid the foundation for the entire HQS product line, with one clear goal: maximum real-world hunting performance.

HQS Hunter features an Over-Barrel construction that covers part of the barrel, reducing the overall rifle length. Despite a total suppressor length of 250 mm, it adds only 154 mm to the barrel. This is especially noticeable during driven hunts and in dense terrain, where compactness and balance are critical.

The HQS Hunter uses a single-piece core made of 7075 aluminum with a special nickel coating. This coating is not cosmetic – it delivers real advantages:

• Protection against corrosion and aggressive post-shooting condensation
• Reduced carbon buildup for easier maintenance
• Higher resistance to heat during sustained firing

The result is durability comparable to titanium suppressors, at a far more accessible price point.

HQS Hunter features an interchangeable thread sleeve, mechanically secured with locking screws (not glued). This ensures perfect concentricity, secure mounting, and compatibility with multiple rifles.
